Hudson Turns 1

Hudson Knox what a crazy year it has been.  Making a grand entrance heading directly to the NICU, you have continued to shock us ever since.  Your first year has been different than those before you...You have been drug to ballet practice, recitals, art lessons, school pick-up and drop-off and t-ball games.  You maintain an infectious smile and a cheerful disposition though.  I am extremely grateful. Psalm 1 says, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.  He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither.  In all that he does, he prospers." (verses 1-3)  I pray that you will be a blessed man.

I've turned the corner

I feel like I have made some huge progress now that I am posting things that happened in the current year.  At this rate I may be caught up by Dean's birthday in a few weeks.

Christmas Festivities

I apologize now to the entire Hatchett family.  We had Christmas but I don't know where those pictures are so until I find some to document the event we will have to settle for this.  I can't find any pictures from Christmas day and I feel certain that we took some.

Anna Grace and Dean's Choir Performance
(Dean's first performance on stage)

On stage waiting for the Diaconate gift.

If you look closely you can see Anna Grace's green and red bow in the middle of the stage.

Dean warmed up to the stage just fine!

An evening at the zoo checking out the lights.

hello aubie!

We took our annual trip to Auburn with the children to watch a game this past fall.  Hudson had to sit out this time but it won't be long before he is there.
Caleb was not sure about meeting Aubie.  He was clinging to the photographer.  I bet that will not be the case next time.

Neal and his girl
her intensity here is not toward the game
but the cheerleaders
two boys so similar in so many different ways
a Big Daddy pile up

isn't this ideal conditions for watching a game

Meanwhile, back at the lake Honey was working hard to take care of this happy man.

(Thanks, Honey!
We could not have gone without your help!)
