Yesterday Leslie (and Matt) gave Anna Grace a new pair of galoshes. They were an instant hit - Anna Grace wore them to dinner last night, had them again on as soon as breakfast was over this morning - wearing them with her pjs; she wore them while watching Backyardigains this morning, then to feed Sam; I insisted we take them off for lunch but she put them back on as soon as she finished her peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Needless to say they are a the best! And while we know they really aren't galoshes that's what we call them because the other day Anna Grace asked for a pair of galoshes (Moose, on Noggin, was talking about galoshes as winter weather gear - I tried to explain that 1. we don't need winter clothes in the summer and b. in Alabama in the winter galoshes aren't necessary but she still wanted to make her fashion statement with them.) and because we like to hear her say "galoshes."
How do they get the toilet paper on the rolls so tightly? I just can't do it. Needless to say, we are learning to graciously accept it anyway we can get it around here and if you come for a visit you might learn the same lesson.
Today's glimpse of life with a 2 year old and a 1 year old.
These days I am beginning to wonder. Thought you might like to see the new hair cut. These were the best I could do - just before bedtime is not the best time to have a photo shoot.
